Art Swap and Frame Giveaway. What are you going to do with that old artwork in your closet? Swap it! What about that big piece you were hoping to give as a birthday present? Frame it! And all those art supplies you barely used? Bring them in and find some new ones to try out.

How it works

For the art swap, you will be given as many tickets as you bring in original artworks. You then redeem your tickets for others' artworks of your choice.

For the frame giveaway, over fifty frames have been donated by Grand Valley State University and will be given away on a first come, first served basis. Some have plexiglass, some do not. Hanging hardware and dust covers not included.

Rapid Art Movement

Our one-of-a-kind arts festival returns in a whole new format.

Returning January 2026, Rapid Art Movement is an arts festival that embraces the unique setting and culture of Grand Rapids. Passengers will board a DASH bus transformed through drawings, sculpture, poetry, and performance and take a ride like they’ve never experienced before. It’s all part of World of Winter, the largest winter festival in the US.
